Susan Arlene Jasinski (Golatka)

Susan passed away on June 2, 2021 at age 77 from dementia. She was born on March 9, 1944 to loving parents Peter and Mary Golatka. Sue graduated from Whitney High School in June 1962. She also worked at Steins in downtown Toledo while she was still going to school.

Susan was very proud of her Polish heritage. Where she lived with her parents and siblings there were Polish bakeries and Polish butchers on almost every corner. She was also very proud that she passed the Postal exam and worked many years at the main Post Office in downtown Toledo as a sorter. Sue and her sister Joanne went over 20 years to Ft. Myers, FL. She loved to shop, walk on the beach, and sit by the pool.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary Golatka; sister, Joanne Kazmierczak; and brothers, Pete, Donald, and Jerry Golatka. Survivors include her loving husband, David L. Jasinski whom she married in February 1964; loving son, Troy (Amy) Jasinski; grandchildren whom she loved dearly and was so proud of, Tyler and Kaitlyn Jasinski; sister Shirley (Steve) Napierala; sister-in-law, Linda (Greg) Horton; brothers-in-law, Robert (Toni) Jasinski, Tom Jasinski, and Greg Jasinski; and many nieces and nephews.
