Sharon Turner, age 63, formerly of Hannaford Dr. in Toledo, Ohio went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Rosary Care Center of Sylvania surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 13, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio to Melvin and Mary Ann (Majchszak) Emahiser.
Sharon was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Owens Community College. She was employed as an RN at Toledo Hospital and Heartland of Oregon. Sharon loved being an RN helping and taking care of people. She enjoyed being around people from Saturday football parties, hosting events and made friends wherever she went. She loved dogs, especially Max, Spike and Bobo. She enjoyed going with her brother Mike to Notre Dame football games in the fall and also enjoyed cooking for her family and loved ones and was known for making an amazing apple cake and her famous jello cake.
Sharon’s true and deepest love was her children and her grandchildren who affectionately called her Gram; she was an epicenter of love and generosity and will be missed every day.
Sharon is survived by her children, Daniel (Sara) Turner, David (Shannon Hopkins) Turner, and Samantha (Mike Sweeney) Turner; grandchildren, Lily, Olive, Rafael, Mabel Jean, June, Paisley, Mia, and Willow; and brothers, Dale (Teri) and Michael Emahiser. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to gather at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. on Friday, May 27 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. before processing to Lake Township Cemetery for the graveside funeral and committal service at 1 p.m. Pastor Matt Olszewski will preside.
