Ronald Arvel Tollison, age 78, of Toledo, OH passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born July 28, 1942 in Toledo, OH to Arvel and Mildred (Kelly) Tollison. Ronald was a 1961 graduate of Whitmer High School. A proud journeyman machinist, he retired from the Chrysler Jeep Corporation at the original Jeep Plant after 42 years. Ronald always had a fascination with cars. He was a member of the Placer’s Car Club and owned over 40 classic cars throughout his life. A NASCAR fan, he loved attending races at Toledo Speedway. He also enjoyed motorcycles, snowmobiling, and boating. He was a member and past Vice-Commodore of the Riverview Yacht Club.
Ronald is survived by his mother, Mildred Dvorsky; daughter, Tami (Joseph) Matthews; former wife, Marilyn (Gary) Hall; grandchildren, Nicole Matthews, A.J. (Angelina) Matthews, Kaylyn Matthews, and Zack Matthews; and great-grandchildren, Zofia, Helena, and Anthony. He was preceded in death by his father, Arvel Tollison.
Visitation will be Friday, July 30 from 9-11 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will begin Friday at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Toledo Memorial Park.
