Leroy Joseph Senik

    Leroy Joseph Senik, age 79, of Presque Isle, MI passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 25, 1943 in Detroit, MI to Joseph and Geraldine (Kuehner) Senik. Leroy was a graduate of Clarenceville High School in Livonia, MI. After completing training he was employed as a lineman for Detroit Edison for 33 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the IBEW, and a Veteran of the US Coast Guard. Leroy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man. He loved animals including his faithful schnauzer “Max”. An avid outdoorsman, Leroy looked forward to participating in the annual Labor Day Walk across the Mackinac Bridge and loved living in the Lake Huron area in Upper Michigan.

    Leroy is survived by his loving wife, Lee Patricia (Cuddy) Senik; daughter, Jennifer (Barry) Ratzlaff and children, Cooper and Beckett; stepdaughter, Erika (Matt) Tate and children, Peter, Aubrey, Sam, Kady, Matt Jr., Wyatt, and Kenny; son Adam (Jennifer) Hall and children, Moira and Alaina; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alan Senik; and sister, JoAnn Cook.

    The committal service for LeRoy will be Friday, September 23 in Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176. Condolences may be shared at www.sujkowski.com.
