Judith Ann Blochowski

Judith Ann Blochowski, age 80, of Sylvania, OH passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 9, 1943 in Toledo, OH to Stephen and Phyllis (Rosinski) Gasiorowski. Judith was a graduate of St. Hyacinth Grade School and Central Catholic High School. She worked for Pier I Imports at their stores in Florida, on Monroe Street in Toledo, and at Spring Meadows in Holland, OH for over 25 years, retiring in 2016. A skilled crafter, she loved creating her own Christmas cards. She was also a tea connoisseur, a member of the Republic of Tea, and a collector of teapots. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church and a current member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Toledo.

Judith is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 60 years, Thomas K. Blochowski (married August 24, 1963); children, Kenneth (John McBain) Blochowski, Cynthia (Andrew) Mikolajczyk, and Kevin (Carol) Blochowski; grandchildren, Zachary and Alexa Blochowski; and sister, Mary (Ned) Ludlum. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, February 13 from 3-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a scripture service at 7 p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 6149 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615. There will be no procession from the funeral home. Those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
