Joyce Baden Obituary

Joyce Ann Baden, age 82, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Regency Hospital. She was born on June 12, 1937, in Toledo, OH, to Leo and Rose (Kruer) Hill. Joyce worked as a cook and dietician for Little Sisters of the Poor, and the Jesse James Drive-In. Her other places of employment included the F. W. Woolworth Co. in downtown Toledo and the Southland Shopping Center, the Daisy Cleaning Co., and the Cleaning Genie Co. She was a longtime parishioner of the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Susan (Brian) Johnson and Mary Ann Weaver; son, David Andrew Baden; grandchildren, James Weathers, David (Lisa) Weathers, Elizabeth Weaver, and Rebecca (Matt) Allen. and sister, Rita Jenkin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Baden in 1998; grandson, Christopher Weaver; and brothers, Raymond, Bob, and Lealand Hill.

The family will gather for a private funeral service followed by interment in Willow Cemetery, Oregon, OH. Arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176.
