Evelyn Marie Szaradowski

    Evelyn M. Szaradowski, age 102, formerly of Belmont Ave., passed away peacefully Monday, September 19, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 13, 1920 in Toledo, OH to Walter and Michalina (Bieszczad) Malinowski.  Evelyn was employed as a maintenance worker for the former Lucas County Home for the Aged, worked at Deebs Packaging, and was a wonderful homemaker.  A longtime parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, she was a member of the American Legion Wroblewski Post Auxiliary for 67 years, and the Loyal Christian Benevolent Association (LCBA).  

    Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Szaradowski in 2001; brother, Walter Malinowski in 2005; and grandchildren, Jason Cox and Karen Jagielski. She is survived by her daughters, Annette Jagielski, Sharon Cox, and Donna Maltman; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

    Visitation will be Sunday, September 25 from 1-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1842 Airport Hwy, Toledo, OH 43609. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
