Dolores Bernadette Bieniek

Dolores Bernadette Bieniek, age 92, formerly of California Blvd., passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born November 19, 1929 in Toledo, OH to Joseph and Victoria (Majerowski) Augustyniak.  Dolores was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, and employed at Toledo Table Pad Company for a number of years.  She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook and bake.  Dolores specialized in making family favorites like fried chicken and chicken soup, and was known for making Polish coffee cake, “placek” and delicious “chrusciki”.  She also enjoyed travelling with her late husband, Carl.  Dolores was a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Dolores is survived by her daughter Yvonne (Mark) Yeager; grandchildren, Nicole Yeager, Nicholas Yeager, Joseph Yeager, and Victoria (Chris) Mayfield.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; daughter, Nadine Bethel; sisters, Clara Wilkolek, Irene Czerniak, and Alice Nowak; and brothers, Edmund and Raymond Augustyniak.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 17 from 9 - 11 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The funeral home service will begin at 11 a.m. with Deacon James Dudley presiding.  Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
