On April 26, 2022 Carmen responded to the Lord’s call for a beautiful soul to experience eternal life in heaven. She fit the bill perfectly as she was known for her virtues of wisdom, generosity, and love of life and family. She was born on April 25, 1940 in Toledo, OH to Bernard and Bernice (Byers) Pfeiffer. Carmen’s career as a secretary at the University of Toledo was highly regarded. She enjoyed going to garage sales and she loved to travel with her friends. Carmen leaves many to grieve her passing, particularly her son, Joseph A. (Carol) Mouch of Sylvania, OH; grandsons, Joseph (Becky) and Adam Mouch; great-grandchildren, Christian, Ethan and Elaina; former husband and great friend, Paul Mouch and his daughter Angie Mouch; step grandchildren, Amber (Mark) Craig and Hugh Bent Jr.; step great-grandchildren, Catrina and Christina Redfox and Hugh Bent III; step great-great-granddaughter, Layla; and several friends throughout the states. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jan (Carol) Pfeiffer; and faithful canine companion, Scruffy.
