Carl Daniel Bieniek

Carl Daniel Bieniek, age 92, of Toledo, OH passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 5, 1929 in Toledo to Jacob and Constancia (Borowski) Bieniek. Carl was a graduate of Woodward High School and a Veteran of the US Army. A member of Teamsters Local 20, he worked for 38 years as a general laborer for Miller Oil, Tag Chemical, and Leaseway Inc., retiring in 1991. Carl was an avid golfer, a skilled bowler, and a fan of the Minnesota Vikings. He also loved going to the Casinos and enjoyed frequent trips with his wife Dolores, including driving all the way to Vegas with Casino stops along the way. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.

Carl is survived by his wife of over 70 years, Dolores (Augustyniak) Bieniek (married July 21, 1951); daughter, Yvonne (Mark) Yeager; and grandchildren, Nicole, Nicholas, and Joseph Yeager, and Victoria Bethel. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nadine Bethel; brothers, Robert, Edmond, and Victor Bieniek; and sister, Joan Creeley.

Visitation will be Monday, May 2 from 9-11 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The Funeral Service will begin Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Francis Speier presiding. Interment with Military Honors led by the VFW 606 Burial Corps will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
