Beverly Jean Cymbolin

Beverly Jean Cymbolin, age 93, formerly of Toledo and Brookton Drive in Temperance, MI, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Grove at Oakleaf Village of Sylvania. She was born on November 29, 1929 in Toledo, OH to Earl F. and Margaret (LaFountain) Essing. Beverly was a school cafeteria manager and worker at Monac Elementary School for 23 years. After retirement she was a volunteer for the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) in Bedford, MI. A passionate reader who often read 15 books a month, Beverly tutored children in reading at several area schools. She was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and member of the church’s Quilting Group.

Beverly’s survivors include her daughter, Bonnie (Brian) Didion; son, Robert T. (Elizabeth) Cymbolin; brother, Ronald (Donna) Essing; and 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and one on the way.. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Cymbolin on September 6, 2009; and brother, Jack Essing.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 11 from 4-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The funeral service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Don Clark presiding. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
